With 'Shade', 'Bon Mot' and 'Hawing' already floating around in the ether, Hackney Wick-based multi-instrumentalist Yore (aka Callum Brown) has unveiled another dreamy cut from his forthcoming self-titled debut. This time featuring some stunningly husky vocals from Haha Sounds collective member Milan Monk, 'Open Lights' is a shimmering lo-fi gem with soulful tendencies. Pairing roomy drums, which clatter yet don't over power, chugging guitar work (reminiscent of Brown's other band Ulrika Spacek) leads the track through a glittering soundscape, elevated by subtle synthesizers.
